In order to maintain the beauty and luster of your antiques we recommend using a high quality product such as "Pate Dugay" & "Produits Dugay". regularly.

Proper care of Copper and Brass

We recommend using a polish such as "Produits Dugay", a high quality product used to clean your copper & brass.

Tips:

• Polish approximately once a year
• Shake the bottle
• Apply with a wool cloth.
• Let dry for 1 min.
• Clean thoroughly with a clean cloth.

Proper care of wood furniture

We recommend using a wax such as "Pate Dugay", a high quality product recommended by artisans, cabinet-makers and furniture restorers, to care for your fine antiques.

Ile de France Antiques carries a full line of "Pate Dugay" waxes which come in the following colors:

Clear, Cherry, Walnut, Mahogany.

"Pate Dugay " comes in 500ml cans $16.50 plus s&h.

Tips:

• Apply 1-3 times/yr.
• Apply "Pate Dugay" paste on clean furniture with a paint brush or a soft cloth.
• Wait 5 mins.
• Take off all excess with a soft cloth.
• Let dry for 12-24 hrs.
• Brush with a polish brush.
• Finish with a soft wool rag.
